Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku is Open to a Reunion With Mourinho

Everton talented striker Romelu Lukaku has hinted that his time with the club may be ending at the end of the season. Speculation about his next destination includes a possible reunion with former coach Jose Mourinho, who is rumored to be the next coach of Manchester United after Louis van Gaal’s contract expires at the conclusion of the year. Lukaku has scored 28 goals in 65 league appearances since joining Everton in July 2014. His goal is to have an opportunity to play football in the Champions League.

Rooney Thankful for a Spot on England’s Roster

Wayne Rooney has never taken for granted his spot on England’s national team roster for the upcoming Euro 2016. Currently, Rooney is sidelined with a knee injury that will keep him off the pitch for at least 10 days. No fear for England, as they have strong depth at the striker position. Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy have played well in Rooney’s absence, while he continues to rehab and train to partake in the next round of international matches. The competition between the three is fierce, but the ultimate goal is to develop a chemistry that puts them on the road to success this summer.

Remi Garde is Out as Aston Villa Coach

Many Aston Villa fans feel Remi Garde was the right man for the wrong job. Garde replaced Tim Sherwood last November as the team’s manager, but he lasted only five months in the position. Club officials confirmed that Eric Black would take over as acting manger until a permanent replacement is named.

Still Bad Blood Between Tevez and Manchester United

There is still some bad blood between Manchester United and Carlos Tevez. The talented striker still claims the club never offered him a new contract, which forced Tevez to sign with cross-town rival, Manchester City. He played two seasons with Man U on loan from Juventus before club officials began discuss options to buy his rights. Manchester United went on to win the Champions League final in Rome, and still no new contract offer went to Tevez. This forced him to sign with Man City shortly after.
